Interested in learning the latest in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Deep Neural Networks or Machine Learning? Trying to decide how to configure your model or which learning algorithm to use? Exploring how to use GPUs or upcoming Neural Network Chips to accelerate your AI’s learning time? Look no further. We’ve compiled a comprehensive list of upcoming AI and AI-related conferences so you can explore, learn and hone your AI skill set.
With AI permeating many aspects of our lives (e.g. smart speakers, voice recognition, turn-by-turn mapping) and with AI predicted to affect our future (e.g. autonomous cars, job prospects), it’s no wonder that AI is the current hot technology. The job market for AI talent is also red hot. According to indeed.com in their March 2018 article, the demand for AI skills has grown by 119% in the last three years. Where better to network for your next AI position then at a local AI conference?
With an unending number of AI conferences, symposiums and workshops, we’ve compiled a comprehensive list of more than 100 conferences concentrating on the United States and Canada while still acknowledging many notable conferences in Europe and Asia.
Since AI is a computer technology essential to the effectiveness of Big Data – you’ll also find many Big Data conferences among our listings. In addition, we added a few notable Computer Vision, Natural Language and Autonomous Car conferences. As AI could have wide reaching impact, we’ve included general conferences like CES and social impact conferences like the SingularityU summits. Finally, with AI turning 62 years old this year, we have also included a few long running conferences such as AAAI and IJCAI (first conference in 1969).
The first AI conference was held in 1956 at Dartmouth College with notable speakers such as John McCarthy from Dartmouth, Marvin Minsky from Harvard, and Claude Shannon from Bell Telephone Laboratories. The naming of this first conference over 60+ years ago is attributed with coining the term Artificial Intelligence. While any single conference today is unlikely to draw as many notable researchers, who’s to say where the collaboration and ideas will take AI 60+ years from now.
Enjoy our compilation and let us know if you found this helpful. Also, if we missed your favorite AI conference – let us know in the comments.
