[FAQ] Getting "uptime: command not found" error for the basic tutorial 12.29.2014 02:08 PM
Q: I am running the program from cygwin in windows 7. The streams were created on the platform but no data was available in the streams. I can see from the request log that the calls were made in the platform. But there is still no data in the streams.
A: Are you getting this error - "uptime: command not found error" - when running the shell script? You mention you are using Cygwin; the script was written for a real unix/linux environment, so your Cygwin install may not have the "uptime" command available.
