Results are excellent when testing devices at a fixed location. Mobile testing has spotty results.
We are using the WNC M14A2A cell module and SIMs sourced from the ATT Market place under the Starter Kit Plan.
We started keeping time stamped logs of failures by monitoring things like the cell module WWAN_STATE, CREG status, SOCKET connection failures, network authentication issues, and other parameters all pointing to some reliability issues with the cell connectivity.
Have others seen gaps in performance for mobile devices?
Are there any limitations or lower QOS for these particular SIMs?
Is there a more detailed explanation of what affects WWAN_STATE?
Any other feedback?

Hi. There are no QoS limitations or restrictions on the IoT SIMs.
It is possible that the issues you are experiencing are related to the cellular shield firmware. There is a new version available for download from the quickstart section of the site at https://marketplace.att.com/quickstart You'll need to download the latest version of the WNC Communication Manager (1.0.9) and the latest firmware for LTE, also on the site. After installing WNCCM and unzipping the firmware image you can connect the shield to the host PC and the power supply and update the firmware. This should get your shield up to version 11.50.171541 which you'll be able to see in WNCCM on the firmware tab of the UI. Let us know if that successfully addresses the performance issues you've been experiencing.
