Malaysia Developers Day – Kuala Lumpur – Event Recap
It was a great weekend to Hack in Kuala Lumpur. With over 100 developers staying the night and 24 apps presented the next day, the teams, along with guidance from our dedicated technical advisors produced some excellent applications. Marcos Lara, Hackathon veteran and Silicon Valley Entrepreneur kicked off the weekend with presentations on AT&T, Parse and Github basics. With just 24 hours to develop a full application, the technical experts helped guide the Malaysian developers through, what was for many of them, their first Hackathon.
Thank you to all our sponsors, honored technical guests, speakers and judges that made this event such a great success. These events are only possible due to your valuable donations of time and resources.
We’d also like to provide special recognition to Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) and RedBull who went above and beyond providing invaluable on site support.
