Easier Set-up and Access to AT&T’s Cloud Messaging Inbox
Great news for developers using AT&T’s In App Messaging from Mobile Number API! With the introduction of network-based platform upgrades and a web-based interface for setting up new message inboxes, AT&T has made it easier and simpler for new AT&T Messages users to access their messages from any web-based device.
This new update is great for developers because not only does it remove the need to provision the inbox through the AT&T Messages mobile client app, it greatly expands the reach of users of the service beyond just those with Android devices. Using this API which provides access to the AT&T Messages platform and stores messages in the cloud, developers have a powerful mechanism for enabling cross-carrier, peer-to-peer messaging within their apps.
There are three easy steps to configure your AT&T Messages cloud inbox:
- Browse to http://messages.att.net/
- Sign up for an AT&T Access ID if you don’t already have one by selecting “Register Now”
- If you have an AT&T Access ID, enter those credentials and select “Sign In” to complete the process
