Meet in the Middle – Having to work late, getting stuck in traffic, sleeping in too late, getting sidetracked with your weekend. There are so many reasons why good plans to see / meet up with that friend, relative, or co-worker get shifted. Inevitably, a great coffee date ends up being one person waiting and playing on their phone while the other makes up for lost time. Meet in the Middle solves this but allowing a driver to send an invite to their friend to see where they actually are in the car, and then make plans to meet at another Yelp-approved spot that is halfway in between. The driver can make up for lost time without stressing out about finding a place, or defaulting to a location that is much shorter for one or the other side. This way, those 20 minutes waiting and playing on the phone are reduced, and that nice catch-up with a friend are maximized. The driver has only to select the person in their contacts list, and the category of places (coffee, bars, restaurants, etc), and Meet in the Middle facilitates a nice spot equidistant to any person’s phone that is capable of SMS and mobile web!
