AT&T M2X Heroku Add-On: Deploy a Backend for Your IoT App in Seconds
Guest post by Kristin Peterson, a Project Manager at Citrusbyte
We’re excited to announce that AT&T M2X has released a Heroku Add-on, which has been added to the Heroku Elements Marketplace. Heroku is a platform as a service (PaaS) that enables developers to build and run applications entirely from the cloud. With the M2X Heroku Add-on developers can integrate M2X into their application in seconds, with support for popular languages such as Ruby, Python, Node.js and PHP.
Include the Developer tier of the M2X Heroku Add-on in your Heroku application for free, or choose a pricing option that best suits your data storage needs. We’ve got you covered from prototype to production!
In addition to the Heroku Add-on we’ve developed sample applications in Ruby, Python and PHP, each of which can be deployed to Heroku with a single click using convenient “Deploy to Heroku” buttons. For more information, check out the sample application page for your favorite language:
Once you’ve deployed a Heroku application with the M2X Add-on, you will be able to interact with M2X via our RESTful API using your language of choice.
We pride ourselves on the usability of M2X, which is why we developed an array of developer tools including open-source client libraries, sample applications, and tutorials. The addition of the M2X Heroku Add-on to our suite of developer tools makes it even easier for you to provision and release data driven IoT solutions using the M2X data storage service.
Check out the Full M2X API Documentation for more detailed information about the M2X API.
