AT&T M2X Add-On for Heroku Simplifies Building Apps & Services
We are pleased to announce that developers can now get their M2X-based project off the ground quickly using sample app code and deploy in one-step to the Heroku platform. The new tools include a Heroku add-on, as well as Heroku Buttons that support Ruby, Python, and PHP.
- The Heroku add-on brings AT&T’s M2X Data Service to the hundreds of thousands of developers using the Heroku platform. With a simple click, developers can provision an AT&T M2X account directly from the Heroku portal, and seamlessly push and pull data for thousands of network connected devices. The add-on also simplifies setup and configuration by automatically delivering the correct parameters to the developer’s application.
- The Heroku Buttons for Ruby, Python, and PHP provide a way for developers to quickly deploy an application framework, already integrated with M2X Data Service, onto the Heroku platform. Developers enjoy one-click provisioning, configuration, and deployment.
The Heroku add-on is available today through the Heroku add-on catalog with free developer accounts as well as subscription-based plans available. The Heroku Buttons are available for download today through GitHub.
