Why get your wireless enterprise solution certified with AT&T? The certification process is straightforward, and completion offers a number of benefits to you and your end users:

  • Customers feel confident your application runs on targeted devices
  • Users are ensured the best possible experience on the AT&T's wireless network
  • You gain potential exposure to the AT&T customer base through our sales teams
  • You qualify for application to the devCentral AllStar Program and for Dealer status in the Business Alliance Dealer Program
  • You meet the minimum business and marketing relationship requirement for the AT&T test certificate process

For your business-to-business and internal applications, AT&T certification establishes an independently verified evaluation of quality, and it can help to instill in end users credibility in your company and in your application. For example, certification inspires confidence that your application is reliable and secure, and it confirms that an application will not install spyware or viruses.

In addition, to help you communicate these benefits to your end users, successful completion of the application certification process makes you eligible for valuable marketing benefits, including:

  • Use of the AT&T Certified Solution logo in your marketing and collateral
  • Inclusion in the AT&T Certified Solutions Catalog, a marketable assurance of quality that provides positive exposure to customers and the AT&T Enterprise Sales teams
  • Hosting of your corporate marketing and sales collateral in the Certified Solutions Catalog dynamic search tool
  • Access to the AT&T Marketing Self-Service Site.

By demonstrating that your solution meets AT&T system requirements end users, customers, and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) may more readily accept your solution—a vital consideration for any new software product.

Please note:  Solution Certification is mandatory for all solutions being produced for resale or distribution prior to their being activated on the AT&T's wireless network.

Fees

Because testing across platforms and devices will enable you to reach the broadest number of customers, AT&T subsidizes testing fees to encourage you to submit applications for certification on multiple platforms and devices. While most testing processes charge per application, our fee structure is inclusive, so you can test software solutions on as many platforms and devices as necessary.

Testing fees are as follows:

  • Initial fee, including all platforms and devices specified: $1,000
  • Re-test Fee: $500
