Power your Future Contest for Sustainable Apps

08.01.2011 12:00 AM -
09.28.2011 12:00 AM

When: Augist 1, 2011 — September 28, 2011 (submissions accepted)
Where: Online

During our Power Your Future sustainability contest, we had more than 100 entries that we narrowed down to four finalists. Congratulations to People Power! This application recommends ways that users can save money and reduce energy waste—in this case, through analyzing real data from a consumer's home monitoring system. The app also allows you to challenge the friends in your social graph to see who can use less energy. Congratulations to all four of our finalists, Light Bulb Finder, Electrify, Good Guide, and our winner, People Power. You are changing the way we use our resources and helping customers make the right decisions about the environment.
