Research in Motion provides a variety of device simulators, which can emulate the functionality of actual BlackBerry device including screen, keyboard, trackwheel, and phone keys. The BlackBerry Java Development Environment (JDE) includes simulators to test Java ME and browser-based applications. Instructions for testing applications that connect through the BlackBerry Enterprise Server are included in the BlackBerry JDE download. Additional simulators are available from the BlackBerry Developer Web site.
